Tidal Wave Auto Spa, founded in 2004, is an express auto wash chain headquartered in Thomaston, Georgia. After five years of operating as a small self-serve car wash, Tidal Wave opened its first express car wash and has since grown to over 140 locations. 

As Tidal Wave has grown, new sites were focused on the aesthetics of the business, ensuring that clean, attractive buildings and well-landscaped lots were an attraction that any community could be proud to host. Tidal Wave’s high-pressure washes use just 32 gallons of water per car, compared to 93 gallons when washing a car at home. The company generates the majority of its revenue through recurring membership subscriptions (65%). Tidal Wave is differentiated by its unique Unlimited Wash Club, which offers customers unbeatable value across an array of options, including exterior and interior cleaning, as well as a family plan. Recent openings by Tidal Wave include new locations in Madison, AL; Eagan, MN; and Bartlesville, OK, as of February 2023.
