Carmen, with over two decades of experience in shopping center management, is a prime example of excellence in her field. Join us as we delve into her journey, insights, and contributions to the real estate world.
Carmen Decker has served as the President of the Western Region for Kimco Realty since 2018, before that, serving in other roles such as Vice President of Leasing and Asset Management and Director of Leasing. In her current capacity, Carmen oversees approximately 160 shopping centers within the Northwest and Southwest portfolios, encompassing a staggering 30 million square feet. Her responsibilities include strategic planning, acquisitions, asset management, dispositions, leasing, property management, and redevelopment.
Having accumulated more than 20 years of experience in shopping center management, Carmen brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Prior to her current position, she served as the Vice President of Leasing and Asset Management for Kimco’s Pacific Northwest Sub-Region.
Carmen Decker’s educational background includes a B.A. degree from the University of Washington, and she is an alumnus of Harvard Business School’s Program in Leadership Development. Furthermore, she is a licensed real estate broker in Washington and an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
