Episode 3: Kmeal Winters, VP of Asset Management
B+E is excited to release the third video in our series highlighting women in net lease! Our guests are all experts in their fields, even if they had never heard of net lease when they started out in their careers. Our goal is for this series to help change that.
Our next guest is Kmeal Winters, VP of Asset Management at Spirit Realty. Ms. Winters has more than 20 years of asset management and client reporting experience in the commercial real estate industry, including roles at Gables Residential, DES Real Estate Consulting, TIER REIT, and Trammell Crow Company.

Kmeal joined Spirit in March 2019 and serves as Vice President of Asset Management where she is responsible for special servicing and property management for the portfolio, including workouts, dispositions, and leasing. Prior to joining Spirit, Ms. Winters served as Director of Asset Management at Gables Residential, overseeing the overall operations of a diverse, multi-family portfolio valued at $1B+. She holds a BS in business administration and accounting from the University of Kansas and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. She is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and also a member of the CCIM Institute.
